What Is Silent Counselling®?
Silent Counselling is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that helps you release emotional blocks without the need to talk about past emotional or traumatic events. It’s ideal if you’re dealing with anxiety, trauma, or stress but prefer not to revisit painful memories, or even if you are struggling to pinpoint what is causing the issues.
This technique works with your body’s energy system to identify and clear negative emotions. By using techniques like muscle testing, acupressure points, and focused breathing, we can address the root causes of emotional distress without verbal discussion.
What to expect:
You will be asked to identify an issue or emotion to work with. This event could be something that is bothering you from your past or something that you are dreading having to face in the future. There is no need for you to talk about the trauma or issue if you don't want to.
With the use of muscle testing, energy meridians/acupressure points are identified that hold certain emotions, and through breathwork and working these points, the stuck energy & corresponding emotions are released, restoring balance & promoting healing.
There is no judgment in a session, allowing you to release these stresses and traumas in a safe space.
Sessions typically last around 75 minutes. Many clients report feeling lighter & more at peace after just one session. It is generally recommended to book 3 sessions.

Background
of Silent counselling®
Marjorie & John Cooper, are both experienced energy psychologists trained in Roger Callahan’s 'Thought Field Therapy' methodology (TFT) as well as Marjorie adding the study of Bio-Energy Healing with Michael Dalton, the architect of Bio-Energy into her toolkit.
It all came about when a woman came in for a session, but was so traumatised that she was unable to speak about it. She had been sexually abused & prostituted from the age of 5. As a teenager, she turned to drugs & alcohol; and by the time she arrived at the clinic at 18 years of age, she was already familiar with the inside of a prison.
They began the session listening & attempting to understand the small sounds that were coming out of her mouth, and they both realised how traumatised she actually was.
They decided to try muscle testing with her (a technique developed by Roger Callahan - aka Kinesiology) and paired it with their knowledge of bio-energetic feedback, to get simple yes/no answers to closed questions (where the response is felt in the body). They were amazed when they realised she was able to release some of her negative emotions during that session using those techniques.
Over the course of a few visits, the client released a lot of her negative emotions connected to her past as if for the first time ever, she had finally shifted into a positive state with direction & purpose, as she finally felt free.
John & Marjorie continued using & evolving the method, offering it to clients as an option with unbelievable results. At that point it still had no name, but realising that without the client having to experience or relive the traumas without speaking about it, Silent Counselling was born.
